Frequently Asked Questions

I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAKE DESIGN I WANT

This is where I can help you! From the early stages of contacting me I will ask you questions as to the style of wedding you wish for your day, as we work through the consultation phase I will ask for photos of elements such as your wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, wedding flowers, invitations, Pinterest boards if you have them to get a feel for your day and we will discuss design ideas for your cake.

I will then produce sketches of designs that I have created just for you & a mood board to give you a good visual idea of how your cake will look.

CAN I SAMPLE YOUR CAKES?

You can reserve your wedding cake sample box before you commit to securing your date with me. These include my 5 most

requested flavours and 2 biscuit favour samples to give you the opportunity to try my baking, taste how I flavour my cakes. I charge £45 for these including special next day guaranteed delivery and I offer these a few times a year, typically in February, March,

October and November to work around the busy wedding season.

If you love my work & wish to secure your date without trying my samples first these would be sent complimentary.

DO YOU HIRE WEDDING CAKE STANDS?

It is lovely to hear you are thinking of how to display your cake!
I have a couple of options of cake stands that I hire to my couples, the most popular being the modern white Mosser milk glass stand Pedestal Stand which gives additional height to your cake & elegance.

These are £25 to hire with a refundable damage/loss deposit which is returned to you once I have received the cake stand.

Alternatively I would recommend talking with a venue stylist such as Victoria at Party-Squared who can really help to create a display to show off your cake (afterall it is likely to have taken a lot of time & consideration to make so why hide it away in a corner?!).

DO YOU CATER FOR GUESTS WITH ALLERGIES?

Whilst every effort & care will be taken to avoid cross-contamination, I make wedding cakes in my domestic kitchen where

allergens are present so I cannot guarantee 100% allergen free cakes.
