WEDDING CAKES
There are many details I consider when pricing a bespoke made wedding cake, the starting point is to know the amount of guests you will have, this will help me to suggest the right size that will meet your needs.
Decorations such as hand made sugar flowers, royal icing pipe work or luxury materials like edible 24ct gold/silver leaf and silk ribbons will be priced accordingly. Every cake is uniquely designed and personal for each couple, therefore individually priced depending on it's size/amount of decoration. Whilst this means I cannot offer a set price list, I understand that it would help with your planning to have an idea of budget.
Please see below examples of an typical spend for Couture iced wedding cakes, delivery would be quoted in addition.

How much does a wedding cake cost?
Ordering your wedding cake is easy as 1, 2, 3.....

STEP 1
Initial Enquiry

Once you’ve confirmed your wedding venue, I recommend getting in touch to check my availability for your date. My couples typically reserve their dates around 12-18 months in advance, so reaching out early is the best way to avoid disappointment.
When you enquire, I’ll ask for a few initial details — including your guest numbers and venue name — which allows me to provide a starting price guide. From there, you’ll have the opportunity to either reserve a tasting box or secure your date with a £100 booking fee.
STEP 2
Wedding Cake Design

Around six months before your wedding day, I’ll be in touch to begin the consultation phase. By this stage, most of your key wedding details will be in place — your venue, styling, florals, and overall aesthetic — and these elements become the inspiration for your bespoke cake design.
Many of my couples live further afield or have busy schedules, so consultations are often held via email or telephone, allowing the process to be both relaxed and convenient.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss how you envision your wedding — the atmosphere, the details, the story you wish to tell. I’ll gather inspiration from elements such as your wedding dress, colour palette, invitations, and floral choices, as well as your venue and photographer’s style, to ensure your cake harmonises beautifully with every aspect of your day.
From there, I’ll create a detailed digital sketch of your design, accompanied by an accurate quotation. Together, we’ll refine and develop your vision until it feels truly perfect.
Approximately six weeks before your wedding, I’ll be in touch once more to confirm all final details — including your chosen design and flavours. This is also when the remaining balance is due.

STEP 3
Delivery

In the weeks leading up to your wedding, I’ll be in touch with your venue and, where needed, your florist or stylist, to ensure every detail is perfectly coordinated for your cake’s delivery and display.

On the morning of your wedding, while you’re enjoying those special final moments of preparation, I’ll be quietly setting up your cake — adding the finishing touches so that, when you arrive at your reception as newlyweds, your cake is there waiting, beautifully presented and ready to be admired.

From the first contact with Sam the whole process of designing our wedding cake was so easy.
The cake tasting boxes were so beautifully boxed and made it so difficult to choose between the flavours.
On our wedding day we were so overwhelmed with how beautiful our cake was and our vision had been brought to life.
