Wedding Cakes
Ordering your wedding cake is easy as 1, 2, 3.....
STEP 1
Once you have booked your wedding at your chosen venue, get in touch to check I am available for your date, my couples tend to book around 18 months in advance so contact me sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
I will ask the number of guests you will be expecting and the name of your venue to enable me to give you a starting price, then give you the opportunity to reserve a samples box or secure your date.
STEP 2
Around 6 months before your wedding date I will be in touch to begin the consultation phase as generally everything else will be in place, most of my couples live far away or have very busy work schedules so prefer to do this via email/telephone call. If you would prefer a face to face consultation I offer week day appointments between November to March.
During the consultation phase we will talk about how you envisage your wedding to look & I will ask for elements of your wedding to design your cake & tie everything together. Elements such as a photo of your wedding dress, colour swatches, wedding invitations, flowers to use as inspiration, also taking your venue & photographer's style into consideration. From here I will send you 2 to 3 design sketches with accurate quotes that you can choose from and make refinements if necessary.
Around 6 weeks before your big day I will be in touch to to confirm the details of your design and flavours, this is also when your balance is due.
STEP 3
Leading up to your wedding date I will liaise with your venue (& florist/stylist where necessary) to arrange delivery schedules then I set up your cake for you on the morning of your big day ready for you to arrive for your reception as the new Mr & Mrs!
