WEDDING CAKES

There are many details to consider when pricing a bespoke made wedding cake, the starting point is to know the amount of guests you will have in total, this will help to work out the right size that will meet your needs.

Decorations such as hand made sugar flowers, royal icing pipe work or luxury materials like edible 24ct gold/silver leaf and silk ribbons will be priced accordingly.

Every cake is uniquely designed and personal for each couple therefore individually priced depending on it's size/amount of decoration. Whilst this means I do not offer a set price list, I understand that it would help with your planning to have an idea of budget. Please see below examples of an average spend for my iced wedding cakes, delivery would be additional.

3 tier using a 4”, 6”, 8” combination (approx 70 portions)
From £615 | Couples average spend - £750+

4 tier using a 4”, 6”, 8”, 10” combination (approx 130 portions)
From £745 | Couples average spend - £895+

5 tier using a 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” combination (approx 210 portions)
From £935 | Couples average spend - £1,165+

Please note there is a minimum spend of £700 for Couture iced cakes & £525 for buttercream cakes (not including delivery & set up).
If you are having an intimate wedding where a large cake is not needed, the value can be made up with favours.

Ordering your wedding cake is easy as 1, 2, 3.....

STEP 1

Initial Enquiry

Once you have booked your wedding at your chosen venue, get in touch to check I am available for your date, my couples tend to book around 18 months in advance so contact me sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

I will ask the number of guests you will be expecting and the name of your venue to enable me to give you a starting price, then give you the opportunity to reserve a samples box or secure your date with £100 booking fee.

STEP 2

Wedding Cake Design

Around 6 months before your wedding date I will be in touch to begin the consultation phase as generally all other elements will be in place and I use them as inspiration to begin your bespoke design. Most of my couples live far away or have very busy work schedules so prefer to do this via email/telephone call. If you would prefer a face to face consultation I offer week day appointments between November to April.

During the consultation phase we will talk about how you envisage your wedding to look & I will ask for elements of your wedding to design your cake & tie everything together. Details such as a photo of your wedding dress, colour swatches, wedding invitations, flowers to use as inspiration, also taking your venue & photographer's style into consideration. From here I will send you a detailed design sketch along with an accurate quote and we develop the design together from there.

Around 6 weeks before your big day I will be in touch to confirm the details of your design and flavours, this is also when your balance is due.
